Antique Skultuna Brass Pestle Mortar Set, c.1890-1922

Antique brass pestle and mortar set from renowned Swedish metalsmith Skultuna. Marked No.04 on both pieces. Warm patina attests to its age and heritage. Mortar bowl measures 4.25 " across, perfect for grinding herbs and spices. A stunning piece of late 19th century Scandinavian craftsmanship.

The markings on the mortar indicate that it was made between 1890 and 1922, a period when it was believed that Skultuna was founded in 1611. However, Skultuna was actually founded in 1607.

Condition: Excellent, original brass patina. Normal vintage wear.
